Hazleton woman charged with DUI
A Hazleton woman was cited by McAdoo Police after a traffic stop on March 29.
Officers were monitoring traffic when they saw a vehicle making a turn without use of a turn signal. The middle brake light on the car was burned out, so a traffic stop was made.
The driver was identified as Linda Quinn, 64, who appeared to be intoxicated. She admitted to having several drinks before getting behind the wheel and was given several field sobriety tests, which she failed. She was then transported to a hospital for blood tests.
Test results show she had a blood-alcohol content of 0.188 percent, more than twice the limit of 0.08 percent. She was charged with two counts of DUI and two traffic offenses.
