Palmerton police investigate incidents

The Palmerton Police Department reports the following incidents:

Robbery

Criminal charges were filed against Anthony Borrelli, 29, of 304 Delaware Ave., Palmerton, for robbery, two counts of criminal trespass, burglary, two counts of theft, two counts of receiving stolen property and criminal mischief. The incident occurred March 27 at 12:30 p.m. in the area of Fourth Street and Delaware Avenue to the 300 block of Lehigh Avenue.

Possession of a controlled substance

Criminal charges were filed against Joann Faust, 55, of 336 Reilly Ave., Tamaqua, for unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. The incident occurred on March 10 at 10:39 p.m. on Route 248 west.

Public drunkenness

Jeffrey Boyer, 50, of 218 All Kings Drive, New Ringgold, was cited for public drunkenness. The violation occurred on March 22 at 1:56 p.m. in the 600 block of Delaware Avenue.

Retail theft

Jennifer Walker, 36, of 71 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton, was cited for retail theft. The incident occurred on March 9 at 11:20 a.m. in the 500 block of Delaware Avenue. Criminal charges were also filed against Walker for retail theft for an incident that occurred on March 26 at 4:45 p.m. in the 500 block of Delaware Avenue.

A citation was filed against Dylan Lavecchia, 21, of 568 Franklin Ave., Palmerton, for retail theft. The violation occurred on March 29 at 8:05 p.m. in the 500 block of Delaware Avenue.

Harassment

Criminal charges of simple assault and harassment were filed against Tiffany Tomsic, 29, of 235 Avenue A, Palmerton, and Shannon Mitchell, 36, of 360 Lehigh Ave. Apt. C, Palmerton. Charges were also filed against James Dankel, 42, of 360 Lehigh Ave. Apt. C, Palmerton, for false identification to law enforcement. The incident occurred on March 20 at 6:32 p.m. in the 200 block of Avenue A.

Disorderly conduct

Jasmine Feliciano, 26, of 140 Delaware Ave., Apt. 207, Palmerton, was cited for disorderly conduct. The violation occurred on April 1 at 1:45 p.m. in the 200 block of Delaware Ave.

Citations were filed against Kaitlyn Klotz, 19, of 437 Lehigh Ave., Palmerton; Matthew Kolakowski, 21, of 508 Deerfield Drive, Nazareth; and Brianna Caterino, 23, of 473 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton, for disorderly conduct. The violations occurred on March 31 at 8:52 p.m. in the 400 block of Delaware Avenue.

Police also issued six citations for vehicle violations, and one for speeding.
