Tools swiped in Schuylkill break-in
State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a burglary at a Schuylkill County property.
Troopers said two outdoor sheds in the 300 block of Main Street, Porter Township, were broken into with several items removed.
Taken were two chainsaws, both Stihl models, a Stihl weed wacker, and an MTD log splitter/trailer. The log splitter is permanently attached to and part of a single-axle trailer. The trailer has a 5.5 horsepower engine and a splitting force of 27 tons.
The theft occurred sometime between 4:18 and 5 a.m. on April 13. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-739-1330.
