Tamaqua driver in Lehigh crash

A Tamaqua driver was involved in a crash along a Lehigh County road. State police at Fogelsville said the crash occurred at 10:28 a.m. on Monday along Mosserville Road, near Springhouse Road, in Lynn Township.

Troopers said Agron Hoti, 34, was driving a 2013 Toyota Highlander eastbound when he swerved to the right to avoid a deer that had entered the roadway. The Highlander struck the deer, then traveled about 40 feet before striking a utility pole with the right front fender. After impact the Highlander traveled about 50 feet before coming to rest.

Hoti was not injured.
