Monroe crash

State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a one-vehicle crash at 12:44 p.m. Saturday along Route 715 in Chestnuthill Township.

Troopers said Wesley R. Johnson, 32, of Stroudsburg, was driving a 2002 Chevrolet 2500 truck southbound and failed to negotiate a left curve and struck a tree along the berm. Johnson sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by West End ambulance personnel. The vehicle had to be towed.

Troopers cited Johnson for the crash.
