Schuylkill driver cited after crash

A Schuylkill County driver has been cited following a one-vehicle crash that occurred on Sunday along Mexico Road, in Pine Grove Township.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Richard L. Fox, 46, of Summit Station, was driving a 2006 Ford F-150 pickup eastbound around midnight when he failed to negotiate a right curve. The truck went across the westbound lane and onto the north berm, where it hit a tree with the left front.

Troopers said Fox fled the scene on foot without reporting the crash but was later located and charged. The truck was towed from the scene.
