Carbon teen cited for conduct

A Carbon County teen has been cited for disorderly conduct.

State police at Lehighton said troopers were called by the mother of a 13-year-old boy at 1:25 p.m. April 19. She said he was out of control and running away from her.

Troopers responded to the scene, which was the area of Green and Mill streets in Bowmanstown, and found the teen still trying to run away.

Troopers said he was forcefully taken into custody and charged.
