Monroe break-in
State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a burglary at a Monroe County residence.
Troopers said an unoccupied home at 257 Upper Ridge Drive in Chestnuthill Township was entered sometime between June 2014 and May 5. Entry was gained through a basement door.
The criminals proceeded to each floor of the home and removed copper piping as well as a water pump from the basement. In doing so, drywall and plumbing in the home were also damaged.
