Domestic incident leads to charges

A domestic incident involving a Monroe County couple has led to charges.

State police at Lehighton said a woman and James Dingle, 1227 Spruce Road, Saylorsburg, got into an argument inside their home at 10:15 p.m. April 12. During the argument Dingle grabbed the woman by her neck and picked up a chair. She then grabbed the chair from him.

Dingle also ransacked the interior of the home and poured gas on a couch in the home. He also damaged the woman's work vehicle, which was parked in the driveway of the home.

Troopers said Dingle was charged with harassment and added that the investigation into the incident is continuing.
