Results of roving patrols announced
The North Central Pennsylvania Regional DUI Enforcement Program has released the results of a Roving DUI Patrol held April 25 in Schuylkill County.
Two officers representing separate local law enforcement agencies conducted a roving patrol, contacting and detaining a total of 21 vehicles along county roads. One operator was tested for possible intoxication. Officers also issued three traffic citations and issued 19 warnings.
Checkpoints will continue to be conducted on routes 61, 183, 901, 209, 1006, 309, 443, 895, 125, 25, 924 and 54. The checkpoints and patrols are funded through the state Department of Transportation and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
