Tamaqua citations

Several people were cited for violating the Quality of Life Ordinances in the past two weeks.

Cited for having accumulated rubbish/garbage were: Jonathan Miller, 25 and 29 Center St., first offense; Anthony Boyle, 653 Arlington St., second offense; Cherie Neyer, 266 W. Cottage Ave., first offense; George Miller, 226 W. Cottage Ave., first offense; Karen Carrico, 419 Pine St., first offense.

Sergio Rodriguez was cited for three violations at 117 Penn St. They included accumulated rubbish/garbage, having indoor furniture outside and having storage containers for waste/trash placed out for collection more than 24 hours in advance. All three were first offenses.

Tim Hanna of 346 Arlington St. and Edward Bartek of 330 Hazle St. received first-time citations for having furniture placed outside.

The fine for a first-time offense is $25, while the fine for a second offense is $50.
