Minor injury in Schuylkill crash
One person sustained a minor injury in a one-vehicle crash that occurred at 5:25 p.m. May 22 along Pine Valley Road in East Brunswick Township.
State police at Frackville said Samuel J. Tuckett, 21, of Andreas, was driving a 1999 Volkswagen Jetta westbound when he failed to negotiate a left curve in the road.
The Jetta went onto the right berm and struck a utility pole with the right front side. The pole was damaged by the impact and the Jetta was disabled.
A passenger with Tuckett, Chastity Yatsko, 23, of Lansford, was treated at the scene by New Ringgold ambulance personnel.
Troopers cited Tuckett for driving too fast for conditions.
