Nesquehoning

Zion Lutheran Church

The Zion Lutheran Church, 2 E. Catawissa St. in Nesquehoning, will be welcoming Vicar Sharon Richter to Zion on Sunday.

Bagels and coffee will be served in the church social rooms at 8:15 a.m.

Vicar Richter will be replacing the current vicar, Michael Duris, and will serve Zion Lutheran in Nesquehoning and St. Paul's Lutheran in Summit Hill.

Church council will meet at 7 p.m. Sunday.

VFW Ladies Auxiliary

The regular monthly meeting of the Ladies Auxiliary to Nesquehoning Memorial VFW Post 8008 will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Post Home.

All members are encouraged to attend.

Lansford

St. John's

At 7 tonight, St. John's Lutheran Church, 1 E. Abbott St., Lansford, will hold an informal worship: a spiritual, peaceful evening service with Holy Communion.

All are welcome to this relaxed, brief musical evening prayer.

A Bible study will be held, and participants are asked to bring a sandwich or snack to enjoy during that time.

Miller-Keystone Bloodmobile

The Miller-Keystone Bloodmobile will be at St. Katharine Drexel Church, 124 E. Abbott St., Lansford from 1-6 p.m. Monday in honor of Ruthie Meterko.

Appointments are recommended and can be made by contacting John Karnish at 570-645-3994, however, walk-ins are also appreciated.
