A Monroe County man was jailed and facing charges following an incident that occurred June 5.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said officers were dispatched at 7:20 p.m. to the Stillwater Lakes area of Coolbaugh Township for a report of a man walking on the roadway with an open container of alcohol.

When officers arrived they were flagged down by an elderly resident of the area who said he found a person standing in his kitchen area. Police located the person outside an adjoining residence.

He was identified as Milton Reyes, 31, of Pocono Summit. Police said Reyes was staggering and had slurred speech. A check was made and it was learned Reyes had an outstanding warrant for his arrest issued in Monroe County.

He was placed under arrest and transported to the county prison in Snydersville.

Pocono police charged him with criminal trespass, as a felony three, and public drunkenness. He was arraigned on those charges with bail set at $10,000. He was incarcerated on the warrant and was unable to post the bail.
