Schuylkill crash

State police at Schuylkill Haven reported investigating a two-vehicle crash at 4:27 p.m. Wednesday in the Schuylkill County borough of Port Carbon.

Troopers said Donna M. Spiess, 54, of Pottsville, was driving a 2006 Chrysler Sebring northbound on Market Street and attempted to turn left onto Third Street when her vehicle was struck by a 2007 Dodge Caliber operated southbound by Samuel J. Carl, 45, of Port Carbon.

After impact the Sebring spun in a counterclockwise direction while the Caliber traveled in a southwest direction after impact. Both vehicles came to rest in the southbound lane.

Spiess and two female juvenile passengers, ages 4 and 13, Carl, and a 9-year-old female passenger, were all not injured.

Troopers cited Spiess for vehicle turning left.
