New York trucker killed in crash

A New York state tractor-trailer driver was killed in a crash at 3:20 a.m. Thursday. Upper Macungie Township police said the crash occurred in the 1000 block of Hamilton Boulevard.

Police said Kathleen Blue, 52, of Syracuse, was driving a 2001 Volvo truck tractor with a 2015 utility trailer eastbound near Route 222. The truck "faded" across the road and into a ditch. The tractor overturned onto the driver's side.

Blue was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy was scheduled for this morning to determine the exact cause of death.
