BIRTH George

GEORGE Ann Marie Hoffman and Richard Douglas George Sr. of Tamaqua welcomed a son to their family on June 8.

Richard Douglas George Jr. was born in the Pottsville Hospital, weighing in at 7 pounds. He was 20 inches long.

Paternal grandparents are Tracey George and Scott Neff. Maternal grandparents are Sue Hoffman and the late Robert C. Hoffman.

Great-grandparents are Edgar and Shirley Weber.

The new member of the family was welcomed home by a brother, Tony Claypoole.
