Schuylkill crash
State police at Schuylkill Haven reported investigating a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Route 61 and Earl Street in North Manheim Township, Schuylkill County, at 1:02 p.m. June 14.
Troopers said Raymond E. Moyer, 78, of Pine Grove, was driving a 2010 Mercury Mariner eastbound on Earl Street, pulled out for a stop sign at the intersection and struck the side of a 1984 GMC truck driven southbound on 61 by Matthew M. Pfeffer, 47, of Pottsville.
After impact the GMC struck the jersey barrier and came to rest in the left travel lane. Moyer was able to pull of the road into a nearby parking lot.
No one was injured. Troopers cited Moyer for a stop sign violation.
