Two injured in Schuylkill crash

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 10:55 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of routes 443 and 183, in Wayne Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Barbara J. Hollibaugh, 50, of Mount Union, Huntington County, driving a 2005 Jeep Liberty, was attempting a left turn on 443 eastbound to go onto 183 while William F. Dullard Sr., 66, of Auburn, was driving a 2008 Jeep Liberty westbound on 443. Both had the green light, troopers said.

As Dullard entered the intersection with the right of way, Hollibaugh failed to yield and turned in front of him, causing the vehicles to collide.

Dullard and his passenger, Christine E. Dullard, 61, of Auburn, were injured and taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson Street, Pottsville. Hollibaugh was not injured.

Hollibaugh was cited.
