Lehighton couple wed 60 years

Mr. and Mrs. Stanley H. Graver recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They were married July 2, 1954.

Mrs. Graver is the former Connie L. Dietz, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Dietz of Lehighton. Her husband is the son of the late Reuben and Iris Graver of Lehighton.

They have four children: Stanley, and his wife, Elaine, and Ricky, and his wife Julie, all of Lehighton; Allen, and his wife Tammy, of Tamaqua; and Kerry, and his wife, Michelle, of Palmerton. They have six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The couple celebrated with a vow renewal on June 28 at Zion UCC Church in Lehighton, officiated by the Rev. Allen Heckman. A reception followed at the Franklin Fire Company.

The Gravers are the founders of Stan Graver Auto Sales Inc.
