Announcement has been made of the engagement of Eileen Gurcsik of Allentown and Joseph Pinkey of Tamaqua.
The bride-elect is the daughter of John and Mary Gurcsik of Tamaqua. She earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Kutztown University, and is currently pursuing a master's degree in business administration from DeSales University.
She is employed as a customer service lead for ULINE in Breinigsville.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Kathryn Pinkey of Tamaqua and the late George Pinkey. He earned a bachelor's degree in landscape architecture from Penn State University.
He is currently employed as a landscape architect and senior designer for Mctish, Kunkel and Associates in Allentown.
The couple is planning a Nov. 28 wedding.
