Summit Hill woman graduates from Misericordia University
Nicollette Arieanne Scheitrum has graduated with the honors of summa cum laude from Misericordia University with a bachelor of science degree in early childhood education and special education.
She is the daughter of David and JoAnn Scheitrum of Summit Hill.
She is also a graduate of Panther Valley High School, where she was the salutatorian of her class in 2010.
Nicollette earned the honor of dean's list every semester while attending college and was inducted into the Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education.
The McAuley Award and Presidential Award were two scholarships that were granted to her throughout her attendance at Misericordia University.
While attending college, Nicollette completed a four-year professional development program called the Guaranteed Placement Program, was a member of the Teacher Education Club, took part in Service Learning, and also participated in the Mercy Leadership Program.
