Andreas couple married 51 years

Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Exner recently celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary. They were married June 22, 1963 at St. Peter's Church in Mantzville by the Rev. George Fetterolf.

Mrs. Exner is the former Evelyn Steigerwalt, daughter of the late Irma and Clifford Steigerwalt of Lehighton.

Her husband is the son of the late Anna and Luther Exner of Andreas.

The couple have four children: Lewis, and his wife Carla, of Lehighton; Mashell, and her husband Darryl Everett, of Lehighton; Tammy, and her husband Troy Schwab, also of Lehighton; and Bobbi Jo, and her husband Kyle Williams of Omaha, Nebraska.

They have five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
