WANTED: Your original recipes for our annual cookbook and contest

There is just over a week left to submit your recipe for the 27th annual Times News Cookbook and Recipe Contest.

This year's categories include Tailgating, Main Dish & Sides, Holiday Cookies and Candy, Desserts, Edible Gifts, and Beverages and Smoothies.

A winner will be chosen in each category. Those winners will be asked to re-create their winning recipes for a final judging at the Times News office in Mahoning Township, where a panel of judges will determine our grand prize winner.

Deadline for recipes is 11:59 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5. Email recipes to dhall@tnonline.com or mail to Donna Hall, Times News, P.O. Box 239, Lehighton.
