Juried art exhibit set for Lehigh Gap Nature Center

Nature is the theme for Lehigh Gap Nature Center's second annual juried art exhibit.

The show is open to media including painting, drawing, printmaking, works on paper and sculpture.

The jurors will be Kay Stauffer and Anita Collins.

The exhibition will run from July 25 to Aug. 3.

Entries must be submitted on or before July 15. Notification of acceptance will be by July 17.

Delivery of accepted artwork is July 24 with drop-off from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at LGNC's Osprey House, 8844 Paint Mill Road in Slatington.

The artist's reception will be from 3 to 5 p.m. on Aug. 3, After 5 p.m. work may be removed from the exhibit or on Aug. 4, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

JPEG entries may be submitted to Collins at frozenbeedoc@verizon.net.

Label submissions with artist's name, title, medium, dimensions and price.

A 15 percent commission is due LGNC by Aug. 15 for any artwork that is sold.

Artists are encouraged to come to LGNC to do some plein air work at any time, especially during the exhibition.
