Chestnut Ridge Seniors

The Chestnut Ridge Seniors will not meet Thursday, April 28 because it's West End Fair week. They will meet again on Thursday, Sept. 11.

PVEN needs

The Pleasant Valley Ecumenical Network is in need of school supplies, school clothes (especially Pleasant Valley school uniforms), new socks (adult size) and new packaged underwear.

They also need nonperishable food items such as macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, jelly, soups and cereals.

All items can be brought to St. Matthew's UCC in Kunkletown during office hours, Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sundays from 8 to 11:30 a.m.

Exercising seniors

There is a low-impact exercise class for those over 55 from 9:30-10:30 a.m., every Tuesday and Thursday at the Kunkletown Volunteer Fire Company.
