Where are the tourists?

Dear Weissport Mayor,

Regarding your "incense" over the procedures of emergency vehicles during a crisis, please get it in your head that police, ambulance and fire vehicles have always been equipped with loud sirens and flashing lights to warn other vehicles and pedestrians that the emergency vehicles need to get somewhere in a hurry even against traffic and through stop signs and stop lights.

Perhaps you could provide your full name and address for our attorneys in the event emergency medical help is delayed in getting to one of us in Franklin Township in the future. I hope Chief Beltz was just humoring you when he said our police would not assist again in similar circumstances.

Today (Saturday) when I drove through Weissport during mid-day, I didn't see any pedestrians around. Where are the tourists?
