Rally Day

Rally Day at Meed's UMC, 126 W. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning, will begin at 11 a.m. Sunday. Everyone is invited.

High Energy Group will be performing vocals and dance. There will be a children's service and more. A pot luck dinner will follow.

Clock tower

The church would like to thank all those who donated, baked or bought at Redner's last weekend to benefit the clock tower at Meed's UMC. The clock repairs will be done shortly and the clock tower will be chiming soon.

Lansford

Tax collector

The office Daniel J. Wynn, Lansford borough tax collector, will be closed this coming Monday.

It will reopen Tuesday.
