The next Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Group, specifically for grandparents, will occur at 6 p.m., on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at the Lehigh Carbon Community College Jim Thorpe site, 1100 Center St., Jim Thorpe.

The group meets monthly to provide support, information, and resources to grandparents who have taken on the many challenges (and joys) of parenting their grandchildren.

Topics covered include how to meet a child's basic needs, finding help with everyday responsbilities, developing a support network, dealing with your changing role and with your changing relationship with your adult child, and more.
