Colored pencil classes scheduled for art center

Colored pencil classes are being held at the Tamaqua Community Arts Center, offered by Amy Joanne Mogish, Tamaqua, the "Pencilin Peddler." This month's class will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 19.

Additional workshops will be held from 6 to 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 23 and Sept. 30 (scarecrow) and at 10 a.m. on Sept. 27.

Mogish has been a decorative artist for more than 20 years, with her work featured in "The Decorative Painter" and "PaintWorks Magazine."
