Alzheimer's Memory Walk at Heritage Hill

Heritage Hill Senior Community in Weatherly will chair the Carbon County Alzheimer's Memory Walk this Saturday at Heritage Hill Senior Community in Weatherly.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. Opening Ceremony is at 9:30 and the three-mile walk begins at 10 a.m.

Alzheimer's is a disease that has affected over 5 million Americans and causes them to behave erratically, becoming disoriented and forgetful. The Alzheimer's Association provides vital programs that include: family caregiver training, support group assistance, Safe Return program, telephone information and referral, and professional in-service programs.
