Thank you

Over the years I have written many letters to the editor and I have enjoyed trying to put my thoughts to pen. However, nothing more deserves congratulations than the staff of nurses and aides at the critical care unit of Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital.

I recently had undergone L4 L5 back surgery to rectify pinched nerves in my vertebrae. To tell you the truth, I was scared beyond belief. Everyone says stay away from your back with surgery.

After a three-hour operation at Lehigh Valley Hospital, I was transferred to the critical care unit of Gnaden Huetten by ambulance for continued care.

The treatment that I received was excellent. Within a matter of six days I was transferred home and I am on the road to recovery.

I thank everyone in the unit. Your care and dedication has put me on the road to recovery with no ill effects. You are to be congratulated. I cannot name each individually, but again I thank you for a job well done. Hi, Missy!
