Happy to have necklace returned

On December 20th while visiting the Hometown Nursing and Rehab Center, I lost a very sentimental necklace which I received years ago from my late brother.

Several staff members took the time to help me look for the necklace, but we were unable to find it. I later retraced all my steps from throughout the day thinking I had to find it, but it wasn't found.

Once the word got out, several co-workers of mine also took time to search for my necklace at work for days after it was lost. I was deeply heartbroken with the loss since the necklace meant so much to me.

Two weeks later, I received an envelope from the nursing home that contained my necklace and a short little note.

A very honest person found the necklace in the parking lot and anonymously sent it to the nursing home administrator.

I am so thankful to the person who returned it. I just wish I knew who that person was so I could thank them in person.

This day and age it is heartwarming to know that there are still good and honest people around. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all those that helped to look for my necklace, and to the person who found it!

Sincerely,

Mary Jane Kistler
