Divorce granted

Jean M. Schnable, 36 Market St., Tamaqua, was granted a divorce from Frederick Schnable, 49 Lafayette St., Tamaqua. They were married Jan. 4, 2005.

File for divorce

Erik Byrd, 123 Tindal Drive, Huntsville, Ala., started a divorce action against Christine Byrd, 17 Pine St., Tamaqua. They were married Oct. 30, 2008.

Given chance

Matthew Adam Derr,35, of 86 W. Miner St., Coaldale, appeared before Judge John E. Domalakes on a petition filed by his probation officer to remove him from the Intermediate Punishment Program (IPP) for violating the rules.

At the conclusion of the hearing Domalakes placed him in the pre-release program under house arrest status and was to be re-evaluated by theaAdult probation office every 60 days for successful completion of the pre-release status.

Derr had entered a guilty plea to a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) of drugs brught by Tamaqua Patrolman Thomas Rodgers, and on April 18, 2012, was placed in the IPP to serve 60 months.

Foreclosures

A petition was filed by Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., Fort Mills, S.C., to bring foreclosure on a property at 677 Barnesville Drive, Barnesville, whose listed owner is Rebecca L. Frantz, 129 Twelf Acre Lane, Lehighton. The bank alleges the owner has defaulted mortgage payments and seeks a judgement for $75,088.61.

U.S. Bank National Association filed suit to foreclose on the property at 118 E. Ruddle St., Coaldale, whose listed owner is Nettie A. Smith, Box 583, Jim Thorpe. The bank alleges the owner has defaulted on mortgage payments and seeks a judgement for $50,298.

Deutsche Bank Natnal Trust Company, West Palm Beach, Fla., filed suit to foreclose on the property at 5 Madison Avenue, Tamaqua R.D., whose owner is listed as Andrew Rivera. The bank claims the owner has defaulted on mortgage paynments and seeks a judgement for $146,456.30.

Bank of America filed suit to foreclose on the property at 3 W. Ruddle St., Coaldale, whose owners are listed as Sean Michael and Jennifer L. Stoves, 49 W. Miner St., Coaldale, and seeks a judgment for $60,947.01.

Wins appeal

Zachary Peter Keim, 22, of 22 Fern Lane, Barnesville, appealed to court the decision by a magisterial district judge who had found him guilty of a windshield obstruction charge while driving in Port Carbon Borough last Aug. 6 with a cracked glass windshield and fined him $25 plus $50 costs. After a hearing Judge John E. Domalakes found found him not guilty.
