Monroe County Seniors, meeting at Zion Lutheran in Brodheadsville, will meet again at 9 a.m., Friday in the church's fellowship hall.

Greyhound event

Evening worship

Zion Lutheran in Brodheadsville will hold its monthly Saturday worship service at 5 p.m.

Sunday services are at 8 and 10:30 a.m., with Holy Communion celebrated at each service.

Supervisors meet

The Chestnuthill Township Supervisors are scheduled to meet at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 4.

Contemporary service

The weekly Saturday worship service at Effort UMC is now the contemporary service for the church. The 5 p.m. service is led by Ken Edwards.

Meals announced

Our Lady Queen of Peace has announced its free February Community Sunday Suppers for its neighbors. They will be held from 3-4 p.m. Feb. 16 and Feb. 23.

The Community Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 19.
