Invite a friend to church

The dancing and singing group from Meed's Methodist Church, "High Energy" will perform at the 11 a.m. service this Sunday for "Be a Friend Invite a Friend to Church." A covered dish meal will follow.

The church is located at 126 W. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning.

All are welcome.

First Congregational Church

Morning Worship will be held at First Congregational Church, Ruddle Street, at 9 a.m. Sunday followed by Sunday School for all ages at 10 a.m.

Services will be held at St. Luke's geriatric unit at 11 a.m. and MapleShade, Nesquehoning, at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2.

A Lenten Service will be conducted at the church at 7 p.m. followed by choir rehearsal.

On Sunday, April 6, Morning Worship will be held at 9 a.m. and Sunday school at 10 a.m. Examination of the confirmands will take place at 1 p.m.

The Women's Class will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 8.
