Here's a list of upcoming activities during the month of February at the Panther Valley Senior Center, 90 E. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning.
All activities begin at 11 a.m. unless otherwise noted.

Golden Agers
The Panther Valley Golden Agers are scheduled to meet at 1 p.m., Monday, Feb. 10 at St. John's Slovak Lutheran Church Social Hall, 1 E. Abbott St., Lansford.
Members are asked to remember to bring greeting cards, thank you cards, and "Thinking of You" cards to be sent to the military. Also remember to wear red in observance of Valentine's Day. Bingo is scheduled to be played.
Anyone 55 and older is welcome to join.
Tax help at PV library
The Panther Valley Public Library will offer assistance in preparing income tax forms 1040A and 1040EZ forms and PA state tax returns beginning Feb 6.
This service will be offered at the library, 117 E. Bertsch St., Lansford on Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for seniors aged 60 and older at a cost of a donation to the library.
Other interested individuals will be assisted from 5-7 p.m. on Thursdays. A fee will be charged for these services with all proceeds to benefit the library.
Appointments are required. Please call the library at 570-645-3780 to schedule an appointment or for more information.
Nesquehoning
Conservation Club
The next meeting of the Conservation Club will be held Wednesday at Maple Shade Meadows beginning at 6:30 p.m.
A committee for the Spring Fishing Derby will be formed at this time.
All members are urged to attend.
VFW Ladies Auxiliary
The regular monthly meeting of the Ladies Auxiliary to Nesquehoning Memorial VFW Post 8008 will be held at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 11, weather permitting.
All members are invited to attend.
Lansford
St. John Lutheran
Tonight at 7 p.m. St. John's Lutheran Church, 1 E. Abbott St., Lansford, will hold an informal worship: a spiritual, peaceful evening service with Holy Communion. All are welcome to this relaxed, brief musical evening prayer.
For those who wish to come early, a free simple supper is served at 6 p.m. followed by a brief adult Bible study at 6:30 p.m.
On days when PV schools are closed or dismissed early for inclement weather, this service/supper is canceled.
