Heaven is for real
I read Paul Willistein's movie review of "Heaven is For Real." The title was in "Heaven, there is no bier." I know without doubt that heaven is for real!
No, I did not almost die and come back as did this young boy. Like Paul in the Bible I saw heaven not once but twice. The first time was when God took me out of the wheelchair and healed me. That was 21 years ago this past April 4. God chose not to heal my husband, Joe, and he went home to be with him on Feb. 14, 2001. As I held Joe and he took his last breath, I felt and saw his spirit leave his body. I started to question God if Joe was with him.
I moved in for a while with my daughter Dorrine and her husband, Bill. One night about three months after Joe departed, I was sitting on the edge of the bed crying. I held a pillow up to my lips so they could not hear the sobs. The room started to get dark, and the next thing I knew I was in heaven.
Whether I was in my body, I don't know only God knows. That was also me! What I saw was these doors, and I knew which one to open, and there stood Joe, not like when he had died, but what he looked like in his 30s. I said, "I have been looking for you!" He said, "I know!" He then told me to come over to him and he put his arms around me and kissed me, and he messed my hair as he always did. He told me I had to go back, that I would know when it was time. As I closed the door I knew I was in the presence of God, and I said, "Please, God, let me stay." He said, "No, it is not time; you must go back."
The next thing I knew I was sitting on the edge of the bed with the pillow in my lap and light back in the room. So is Heaven for real? Yes! Does our spirit leave our bodies when we die? Yes!
Eternity is for real, whether it is in heaven or hell!
