Dear Editor,
AGAIN- A FAVOR PLEASE?
When you're driving on a country road
And may be running late
Please remember it's a country road,
It's not an interstate.
As folks who live near country roads
Are working on the grass
Or trimming trees and raking up
They're praying as you pass.
When folks who live near country roads
(And you may be on one too)
Are driving they forget sometimes
A kind thing they might do.
So may all ask a favor
Though you have "The Right Of Way"
If you could just slow down a bit
You'd help and make their day.
They're asking you this favor ...
When their mower-motor's hummin'
They'll gladly give you "Right of Way"
But they CAN'T HEAR YOU COMIN'!
