Summer lunch program
A free summer lunch program is offered for children at the following locations: Summit Hill Heritage Center, 1 W. Hazard St.; Grace Community Church, 15 W. Ridge St. in Lansford; and Christ Redeemer Church Building, 151 Third St. in Coaldale.
Lunch is served from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday for children under the age of 18.

Blood drive
The Miller-Keystone Center will conduct a blood drive at St. Katherine Drexel Church, 124 E. Abbott St., Lansford, from 1 to 6 p.m. Monday. Participants may walk in or can make an appointment by calling John Karnish at 570-645-3994.
Summit Hill
Food pantry
Upcoming food distribution dates for the Summit Hill Food Pantry are as follows: Tuesdays, June 24, July 22, Aug. 26, Sept. 23, Oct. 28; and Mondays, Nov. 24 and Dec. 22.
The food pantry is located in the Summit Hill Heritage Center on Hazard and Chestnut streets. Distribution will take place between 10 and 11:30 a.m.
There is to be no parking in the alley before 9:45 a.m. and absolutely no parking in the vacant lot.
Recipients are reminded to bring along extra strong shopping/tote bags.
