A former Nesquehoning woman wants to hear your God stories.

Madelyn (Hawk) Littles, of Tampa, Fla., is currently co-authoring a book "Tell Your God Story."

Littles said recently that the book is to provide "an avenue for people to share their personal stories about how so called 'coincidences' are not really that at all, but more events, dreams, or happenings that God has set in motion."

The Panther Valley graduate is partnering with Lisa Crumbley, a registered nurse in the Tampa Bay, Fla., area, who feels this is her life's mission, after being encouraged by her church's sermon "God Calls the Unqualified."

"Lisa felt a call to write this book about 10 years ago after having a God story happen in her own life," Littles said.

"She kept shying away from the calling because, as a nurse without an English degree, she didn't feel qualified to write it. For many years she ignored the calling, but she continued to hear amazing stories of God from people and she knew these stories needed to be preserved and shared.

"Lisa invited me to join the project when she learned that I was a librarian with a love of writing and a degree in English," she continued.

The pair hope to gather personal God stories from people around the country.

She noted that the goal of the book is to preserve and share the stories, and change hearts and build stronger connections with God.

"Although you will find many stories in this book that will inspire you as a Christian, our desire is that these stories will pique the curiosity of the non-believer to think about the possibility that there just might be more to life than random coincidences," Littles said.

"In that curiosity, we hope they find out for themselves that God exists among us. Your story just might be the encouragement for someone to believe that God is real."

Currently, Littles and Crumbley are looking for people who would like to share their God experiences.

There is no set deadline for submissions.

To submit your story, visit their website at www.tellyourGodstory.com and hit "Submit Your Story."

Littles is a 2000 graduate of Panther Valley High School; a 2004 graduate of Penn State University, where she received a bachelor's degree in English; and a 2007 graduate of the University of Michigan, where she received master of science in information.

She is currently employed as a librarian in the Tampa area.

She is the daughter of Mary Ellen Hawk of Nesquehoning and the late Nathan Hawk; and the wife of Aaron Littles.
