Lehighton couple wed 50 years
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Esrang Jr.
Georgine and Kenneth Esrang Jr. of Lehighton recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married on June 29, 1963 at People's E.C. Church in East Weissport by the Rev. Horn and the Rev. Steinhart.
Mrs. Esrang is the former Georgine Smith, daughter of the late George and Anna Mae Smith.
Mr. Esrang is the son of the late Martha and Kenneth Esrang Sr.
They were honored at a surprise celebration dinner hosted by their daughters, Robin Grohotolski of Palmerton and Amy Coleman and her husband LeRoy of Lehighton, at the Blue Ridge Country Club in Palmerton.
The couple also has four grandchildren.
