Family and friends wished Stella (Mikulski) Wrazien a very happy 101st birthday at Mrs. Bush's Personal Care Home in Kunkletown, with a party. There were balloons, cake and entertainment by Gary and Carol Kratzer.

Stella was born Nov. 10, 1912 in Edwardsville. She married Henry Wrazien in 1939. He passed away in 1963. They have one son, Roger, married to Bonnie.

She has one grandson, David, married to Alisa and three great-grandchildren, Haley, 15, Brittney, 12 and Colin, 5, all of Stroudsburg. All attended the celebration.

For 30 years, Stella owned and operated the family's grocery store, Mikulski Market in Bethlehem.

Stella enjoys watching her beloved Phillies, working on crossword puzzles and loves dogs. Her favorite meal is pizza and beer.

If she had to attribute anything to living a long life, it might be eating lots of fruit and not worrying about anything. And while she can't guarantee that enjoying a whiskey with Coke every night before you go to bed will prolong life, she's certainly proof it can't hurt.
