Palmerton man celebrates 91st birthday

Mahlon Arner of Palmerton recently celebrated his 91st birthday. He was born on Oct. 14, 1922. He was married to the late Joyce (Christman) Arner.

He has two daughters, Diane, wife of Terry Serfass of Palmerton, and Carol, wife of Gary Kuehner of Hamburg. He has five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

He is a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church.

Mahlon enjoys playing pinochle, sending email and playing games on his computer. He calls bingo for the senior citizens in Kunkletown. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends.
