The engagement of Amber Juracka of Jim Thorpe, to Michael Brisbane, also of Jim Thorpe, has been announced by her father, William, and stepmother, Nancy, of Jim Thorpe.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Temple University, where she received her bachelor's degree. She is pursuing a master's degree in counseling from Johns Hopkins University.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Chris and Babs Brisbane. He is a graduate of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, where he received a bachelor's degree. He is employed by Lehigh Valley International Airport as the facilities superintendent.
A spring of 2015 wedding is planned.
