Tamaqua Area School District filed suits seeking judgements on properties for back taxes owed.
Rhonda Lynn Zanaski for back school taxes owed in amount of $880.80. The first judgement was filed in 2011.
Earl A. and Lisa Ohl, for 2012 school taxes in amount of $805.16 owed on property at 341 Clark St., Tamaqua.
Thorn and Heidi Devlin for school taxes owed in amount of $1,032.28 on property at 417 Arlington St., Tamaqua. The first judgement was filed in 2010.
Lorio Wall for school taxes owed in amount of $637.22 on property at 150 Cornerstone Drive, New Ringgold. The first judgement was filed in 2007.
Credit card suit
Portfolio Recovery Associates, LLC, Norfolk, Va., filed suit against Zafar Bajwa, 208 Claremon t Avenue, Rush Township, alleging he owes a balance of $726.18 on his credit card plus interest and costs.
Mortgage foreclosure
Onewest Bank, FSB, Pasadena, Calif., filed suit against Gregory B. Ristela alleging he has defaulted mortgage payments on the property at 120 Patterson St., Tamaqua, and seeks a judgement for $40,787.70 plus interest and costs.
Federal Natinal Mortgage Association, Washington, D.C., filed suit against Belkis Vivieca, claiming he has defaulted on mortgage payments on property at 304 E. Blaine St., McAdoo, and seeks a judgment for $114,524.63 plus interest and costs.
