Slatington Bike Night

The annual Slatington Fire Department Bike Night & Car Show will take place Saturday, Sept. 7, from noon to 8 p.m.

Hosted by the Teamster Horsemen Motorcycle Club, the event will be held in honor of deceased firefighter Milt "Bup" Greene.

During the event, Main Street will be closed from Second Street to Washington Street.

There will be live bands, food and drink vendors, a kiddie tank, and an appearance by Layne "The Doc" Roberts from Penn's Peak Radio

Slatington Lions Club

The Slatington Lions Club will hold a board meeting at the Skeet Club at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11.

Lion Tom Nicholson is celebrating a birthday (Sept. 13).
