Voice technology

The advance of new technology seems never ending.

Remember the "Clapper?" Clap your hands twice and the lamp light goes on or off.

Well how about your voice - light on light off. How about a microwave oven. Cook popcorn in three and a half minutes. How about setting your alarm clock by voice instructions. No need to turn your settings by hand. Instead of texting, voice send your messages.

For your TV, just say change channel from say 8 to 13, oh that's Blue Ridge Cable. The technology can be applied to your car, turn on engine, turn off, or voice command of turn signals, turn left, turn right, and low beam, high beam.

How about voting booths being voice activated. Do you want to vote for this candidate "Yes" or "No"? And while driving to the voting booth you can voice activate your favorite song, Mine would be "Welcome to the Jungle" by ACDC.

Sincerely,

Larry Consoli
