Music worship service
A special music worship service at St. John the Evangelist Lutheran Church, 1 E. Abbott St., Lansford, will be held Sunday, Nov. 17.
The public is invited to worship in a fresh, new, yet familiar way this week only as a group of musicians, led by Alex Haggerty, lead worship and bless the congregation with their talents.
Worship with Holy Communion begins at 8:45 a.m.

Preschool story hour
The Panther Valley Public Library, 117 E. Bertsch St., Lansford, offers a free, preschool story hour from 9:30-10:30 a.m. every Tuesday.
Stories, snacks and activities are provided for the children.

Tuesday, Nov. 19: Beanbags at 11 a.m.
Wednesday, Nov. 20: Thanksgiving celebration at 11 a.m.
Thursday, Nov. 21: Bingo at 11 a.m.
Friday, Nov. 22: Shopping (CCCT) leaving at 9:30 a.m.
Monday, Nov. 25: Minute to Win It at 11 a.m.
Tuesday, Nov. 26: Pay Bingo at 11 a.m.
Wednesday, Nov. 27: Family Feud at 11 a.m.
The center will be closed Nov. 28-29 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
