Safe Haven Pet Rescue
Safe Haven Pet Rescue will hold an adoption day from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 17, at Tractor Supply, Route 209, Brodheadsville. There will be many young dogs available for to meet. A pre-adoption application with references and a home visit is required before adoption.
There will be a volunteer meeting at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 19 at Cherry's Family Restaurant, Route 209 near Route 534, Kresgeville. Volunteers are needed for adoption days, dog transport to veterinary and grooming appointments, fundraising, clerical help, home visits and more. Foster homes are also needed.

Red Cross Blood Drive
A blood drive will be held from 1-6 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 19 at Cornerstone Community Church, located on H.T.Y. Road and Polk Township Road, Kresgeville. Walk-ins are welcome and appointments are encouraged. Contact the American Red Cross at 800-RED-Cross or go online at www.redcrossblood.org to schedule an appointment.
Al-Anon meetings
Al-Anon adult children meetings are held every Monday from 7:30-8:30 p.m. at Salem United Church of Christ, Route 209 and Gilbert Road, Gilbert.
